Why I do this
I understand what it means for a home to actually work for the person living in it. A few inches at a doorway, a rail in the right place, a ramp instead of three steps. Those things are the difference between getting around your own house or not, and that is not a small thing. So I set up a way to do that work for the people who need it most, and to do it right.
Ad Lib Access is how I build accessibility ramps and home modifications at cost for families who need them.
How it works
A family, a neighbor, or a community organization reaches out about someone who needs the work.
Ramps, widened doorways, roll-in showers, grab bars where they matter. Materials and labor at cost, with no markup.
Where I can, I use good leftover material from other jobs, so more of what's spent goes into the build itself.
